Death Magnetic

Hey,

just because it doesn’t totally suck, doesn’t mean it’s good either.  It’s not good and this band is finished and has been for some time.  Testament did better than this with no else noticing.

Metallica RIP

One Response to “Death Magnetic”

  1. I completely agree Roan. This album is a much better improvement from St. Anger, but this band is done for. I hate to say it and i wish i had your simple courage to do so, but i will agree that their prime has passed them long ago. Overall i do like many of the songs of Death Magnetic, but its nothing mind blowing or inspiring. I was watching a documentary last week about metal on MTV or something and Metallica had a ten minute role in the film and it showed all the band’s music from the 80s and i just had to say to myself… They were so bad ass! It has been going down hill for them ever since the The Black Album, even though i like that album, so this end result is nothing surprising.
They have worked hard over the years and contributed much, with that said i think they need to just retire and let the next generation make its place in the world of metal.

Have you ever reviewed any Genghis Tron’s material? K
